1 Year Ago Today...

I apologize for the long pause between blog entries - I've lost my digital camera and so my picture taking with that camera has been put on hold. These are pictures of our dear friends Dave & Gina who came by for a visit with their little cutie Will. Thanks for the pictures Gina!!

You would never know by his adorable chunky legs that this cutie was a preemie. Born almost 2 months early - he proved to be quite a fighter! Now, 6 months old, he continues to amaze everyone who meets him!

Looking for Mommy

I am greatly enjoying having a "mommy's girl". I know this will not last forever, and other things will step into first place like Daddy, and friends, and boys, etc. So I am quite happy to be the ultimate distraction right now!

Retreat to Bear Creek Mountain

For our first little family trip away together, we headed up to Bear Creek Mountain in Berks County. A beautiful ski lodge that I recommend to anyone - whether you ski or not! Here are some pics of our time together... View from our room...At night...

Gone swimmin'! This little floatie-swim-boat was lent to us by our good friends the Chiodi's (thanks guys!). Grace really liked it, but took awhile to "warm up" to the idea of the water and being in it. She takes a good 20 minutes to warm up to any new face or setting. She has this poker face - no smiles, no facial expressions, just shifty eyes, taking it all in...

Daddy is regretting he chose to sit next to his daughter, as he spent most of dinner picking up all the toys she threw "overboard" again and again.
