Our little Grace is 6 months old - we can't believe it! These days she is weighing 15lbs 7oz, and is 25 1/4 inches tall. According to the charts, she hasn't inherited any tall genes yet, heh heh. She is very close to being able to sit up by herself - she can for a minute, then topples over. No rolling over yet, but she seems to be working on that. Grace is enjoying oatmeal, sweet potatoes & bananas these days. More exciting foods to come in the next few weeks! We can't believe how fast time has flown, so we are trying to savor every minute of it! Here are some recent pictures. Enjoy!

Fall Adventures Pt. 2
At the prompting of my sister Janelle, she insisted we take a trip to this funny little shop named Carpertbagger Collectibles that she had been to with her friends while in the mountains. So me, my Mom, Julie, Janelle & Grace piled in the car to head up to Newport, PA in hopes of striking gold. We did! Wow - what a cool store. If you are into vintage/cottage/country furniture & home decor at rock bottom prices - you must visit this place!
Fall "Adventures" Pt. 1
Kitchen Kettle Village trip with dear friends Jill & Annika

Beautiful Lancaster County countryside!
Good ole' New Holland Fair.
One of my oldest and closest friends - Jeane` Miller trekked along the streets of N.H. with her double stroller brimming with two cuties (Christopher & Annie), and 3 week old precious little Mackenzie bundled close to her chest. I was so impressed! Not a whole lot of the fair was open yet, but it was so nice to just be on our old stomping grounds together walking, talking, eating & laughing. What we do best!
Not a prize winner, but I thought this hydrangea was a looker!
Probably eyeing a funnel cake stand like her Mommy....
Not a prize winner, but I thought this hydrangea was a looker!Amazing Grace!
Little Grace is 5 months old. Her hobbies include eating her toes, kicking her legs frantically, and grabbing anything dangled in front of her and putting it in her mouth. She is also an avid thumb sucker. She is very smiley, but only gives us occasional belly laughs (usually by tickling her or lifting her up in the air). We are having a ton of fun with her and love her so much!

A Simple Summer...to Cherish
little things this summer. Lots of precious family get togethers, visits with dear old friends, cheering for the USA in the Olympics, and of course lots of evenings just on the couch basking in the smiles & squeals from our little Gracie.
So...to conclude. We were actually spontaneous today and decided while driving home from an errand, to make a stop at Marsh Creek State Park. We had a blanket in the backseat, Grace was sleeping, how could we go wrong? Well...a few minutes after taking her out of the carseat and snapping some pictures, she realized "I don't want to be here", and let us know quite vocally. Let's just say our little stop by the lake was a quick one.
"Mom, Dad - Take me home. Now. You have T-Minus 5 seconds before I start crying." We are starting to recognize this look....
